Hi,

I have photographed today this pair of flies in a deciduous forest 20km West of Paris.
Length about 5-6mm.
I think this could be a Mycetophilidae, correct? Which species or genus could it be?
Thanks for your answers!

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
