Hello,

I photographed this fly in Bazzano (AQ), Italy, on March 15th 2020. I think it is an Ephydridae, but is it possible to identify the genus or species from these photos?

Thank you in advance,
Emanuele

It has the appearance and posture of an Allotrichoma species - I don't think we can take it further.
