Hello,

I would like to ask the ID of this Tachinidae, photographed in June 28, 2020. The fly was seeking food near the food waste pile. No specimen was collected. Any form of help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks Theo! I think that lack of sufficient number of professional Dipterist in South Korea accounts for non-descript or not revised genus...

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
