Hello together,

is it possible, to identify this fly? Foundet in North Bavaria under stones on May 8th 2020, size may be 10 mm.
Many thanks

Greetings
Eugen

Hello John,

many thanks for your answer. I think the fly was longer and there were more flies under the stones, maybe the flies have just hatched.

Greetings
Eugen

John is right (only one species T. setipennis). If you study the background, it is clear that Eugen overestimates its lenght.

Hello Theo,

thanks for the determination. With the estimate it is always such a thing ...awkward

Best regards

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
