Hello,
Is some sort of ID possible for this Tachinid? I've had these pictures for years, but so far I haven't even been able to figure out the correct genus.

The fly was attracted to light at night, May 8th 2016, Nieuwegein, The Netherlands.

Thanks in advance,

Kind regards,
Reindert van Eekelen

I think you're right, it must be Triarthria setipennis. A rather distinctive looking species, so I'm not sure why I've overlooked it all these years!?

Thank you very much for your help!

Kind regards,
Reindert

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
