Hello,

I found this appr. 10 mm fly on May 17 in our garden in Hannover, Germany. Could it be a Myopa polystigma?

Hello Haleun,

Black scutum in front of the scutellum and crossvein with dark spot; Myopa testacea.
Myopa polystigma has more numerous clear spots.
