Yes. I have no idea if you have the mountain species like suspecta. If not, it is connivens. The vertex seems a bit broad for the male of this species. Theo |

Thank you very much! In Norway, it seems that only Panzeria (Ernestia) rudis has been found. In Sweden there are a few more species in the genus Panzeria - but not P. suspecta or P. connivens. Rosevinge |

Yes, our Nearctic collegues have lumped several genera. Given the Asian / Siberian fauna, I am not yet convinced (and I am more a lumper, traditionally). Anyways, it is a matter of opinion. I think we all consider Eurithia, Appendicia, Fausta and Panzeria s.s. to be monophyletic. Theo Edited by Zeegers on 01-03-2020 19:11 |
