Apparently the genus Acerocnema. Only A. tiefi known from Austria peviously, but it is not excluded that it is another species of this genus. |

I could find Acerocnema macrocera as well. It is an early species, associated with flowering Corydalis
Cheers, Lorin Font Color All requests are from the urban area of Vienna, if not otherwise stated. My Diptera observations (and other living forms) can be found here, and corrections or comments over there would also be appreciated. |

According to Sifner, F. (2003). The family Scathophagidae (Diptera) of the Czech and Slovak Republics (with notes on selected Palaearctic taxa). Sb. Nar. Muzea v Praze. RB, Prirodni vrdy, 59(1-2). A. tiefi BECKER, 1894 is a synonym of A. macrocera. In my opinion the genital drawings are not clear enough, but my guess is A. macrocera. Thank you, Helge |

Å ifner synonymized A. tiefi and A. pokornyi with A. macrocera. However, all three are given as proper species in the Fauna Europaea (2014). I do not know which conception is correct. |
