I have found 3 larvae of a Tetanocera species which belong to either Tetanocera robusta, T. freyi or T. hyalipennis. As the larva of robusta should be depicted in Nielsen et al 1954, zoology of Iceland III, diptera, I was wondering if somebody could check if this is the case, and if so, could share this description with figures with me.
Thanks

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
