Rather large fly. Found yesterday in the skylight behind my house, mid Netherlands. Heteromyza species?

Hi Dick,

Heteromyza have black antennae, Tephrochlamys red. As a rule. Some T. rufiventris can have quite dark ones though...

Kind regards,
Ectemnius
