SW France this morning. Body length around 6 mm. Moving slowly on a sedge in a wet area. I think it is Minettia, but cannot go further. Could the pale scutellum and the black marking towards the tip of the abdomen give a hint to the species or at least the group of species ? Lippo attached the following image: ![]() [101.21Kb] |

Minettia fasciata group, teneral so colour pattern does not tell much.
