Berlin - October 2017

Hello everyone, i'm still trying to work through photos and i came across this mosquito female from 2017. I measured her at 8.5mm head to tip of abdomen. I really don't know which genus it belongs to. I only ever find Culex, so this is a nice surprise. Any ideas of a genus or a species?

Thank you.

Culiseta annulata, I think - looks a bit paler than usual.

Thank you, Tony. I wouldn't know if it is paler or not, so thank you for the tip. I usually only find Culex sp.

Best wishes,
John

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
