Asilidae from Sicily to ID

Hello everybody
It's a diptera belonging to Asilidae family.
Can you please give me the specific id?

Location: Serradifalco, Central Sicily, Italy.
Altitude: 350 mt
Date: June, 15 th 2003
Size: About 22 mm long.
The prey Pieris rapae (Linnaeus, 1758)
