The main swedish entomological magazine Entomologisk Tidskrift started year 1880 and is still published. Now the first edition has been made available via Projekt Runeberg (swedish version of the Project Gutenberg). All pages are accessible as image and text.

The articles are written in swedish, french, latin, norwegian etc. and covers a wide variety of subjects, not only about insects and not only concerning the fauna of Sweden.

As the OCR never are 100% accurate everyone are invited to help with the proof reading. This is done online. There isn't even a requirement to register to help out.

The pages are going to be searchable from Google, but they are probably not indexed yet. You write

To keep track of the diptera articles in ET I've made an index*. I attach it here (zipped PDF) if anyone else might be interested. I don't have access to all issues, but I intend to update the index when I get missing issues or I get information from others who has these issues.

* included 1962-1972, 1976-1996, 1997:1-3, 1998:1

I think I can get hold of the newer ones rather soon if they are not sold out.

Hi Crex,
Do you have a pdf-file of the following publications for me? Smile

Doesburg Sr, P.H. Van: On some Syrphidae from New Guinea and Australia.1966:1-2, 60-68.

Coe, R.L.: A new Sericomyia from Turkey (Diptera: Syrphidae).1966:3-4. 118-120.

Thanks! André
