Hello, I'm a portuguese entomologist mainly interested in Hybotidae but I like to collect every other Diptera. This summer I will be in Calakmul (and other parts of Yucatan Peninsula) for almost 3 months, where I will have time to set up 2 MT, pan traps, pit falls and collect directly by using a sweep net. As a major outcome I want to publish a paper on the recorded species. Are you interested in taking part of this project by providing your taxonomy expertise? At the moment, I contacted two experts who took part: Marc Pollet (Dolichopodidae) and Vicente Hernandez (Tephritidae, Ulidiidae, Richardiidae).
