Perhaps someone can assist in seeing how I am progressing with identifying.

The attached photos were all taken in my garden in East Sussex, England. I have attempted to identify them as follows.

Top Left (TR) E. Arbustorum
Top Right (TL) E. Tenax
Bottom Left (BL) E. pertinax
Bottom Right (BR) E. tenax

All criticisms accepted in the spirit intended. Any tips on identifying also accepted.

For the foto top-left I would suggest Eristalis tenax; there seem to be hair-rows on the eyes...
