Hi,

I would like to identify this aphid photographed at the end of August in the suburbs of Paris (on a lawn).
2-3mm.
Any idea of it identity? Thanks for help,

I think it may be the curly dock Rumex cripus.

So Aphis evonymi comes close, which does not only feed on Euonymus europaeus, but may also live on Rumex - see http://influentia..._aphid.htm.
I wished I knew Aphids better!

Thanks Sundew, actually I have checked from pictures on internet and my specimen very much looks like Aphis evonymi!
