Hi, I think this is a Paragus but is there any chance to go further? Cheers, Lorin inaturalist-open-data.s3.amazonaws.com/photos/21235284/large.jpeg
Edited by Carnifex on 25-01-2026 13:32 Cheers, Lorin Font Color All requests are from the urban area of Vienna, if not otherwise stated. My Diptera observations (and other living forms) can be found here, and corrections or comments over there would also be appreciated. |

Hi! From what I have learned here: https://diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=80810 your fly could be a female Paragus pecchioli. In any case it is a member of the bicolor group. But wait for anexpert... Greetings, Henrik |
