Hi,

I photographed this large Asilidae during the last week of june in Ohrid (Macedonia)
Could this be Dasypogon diadema?

Kind regards,
Paul

This female certainly belongs to the Dasypogon diadema group of species. They are near to impossible to identify from pictures.
