| Member Location: Zaragoza, Spain Posts: 2101 Joined: 26.04.07 | This syrphid (I suppose syrphid) was yesterday at Pe?aflor, Aragon, Spain, in steppe-land yesiferous soil, in flowers of Dittrichia viscosa. About 200 meters high, continental-mediterranean climate. The fly sizes as a Lucilia, about 8-9 mm long. Very remarkable the big head and the sound of the wings, that resembles a small bee such as Amegilla.  It looks for a name. Thanks  |
