Hello everybody

Can we say something about these larvae found in a fungus on a plum tree's bark ?
I think they belong to Mycetophilidae family.

Found in my garden - Rosny-Sous-Bois (France, Île-de-France)
April 2010
Larvae length : 10 millimeters or maybe less.

I have seen Sciophila rufa under similar conditions. However, do not consider that an ID. Wink

Thank you Paul. Smile

Not a bad idea I think. I remember I found one or two small orange flies on these fungi, but I don't have pictures of them.
I'll certainly look for them next year in my garden...
