Hello all,

I wonder if the fly I photographed in the summer (june/july) of 2004 on the Dutch Waddensea island of Griend is Anthomyia pluvialis, or are there other possibilities? The species was very common that year, with many hundreds of them around our house and on the roses nearby.

Great! An answer after a few years! Thank you very much. In the meanwhile I have better equipment and (probably) the same flies overhere. So one day I will upload a better photo...
