 Spaerophoria scripta but with big doubts

Would this be Spaerophoria scripta? It is a little like one I photographed a few months ago, but there are enough differences in the markings on the abdomen to make me wonder. (Photographed near Rome, Italy) Thanks, Sarah |

So it is a female Sphaerophoria for sure, and it could be S. scripta. However, the color pattern varies a lot in this genus, so nobody can tell you from a picture whether it is really S. scripta! Greetings, Gerard Pennards |
