Hi,

I'm a newbie with entomology and especially with diptera, and english is not my mother language, but I'll try to make it... Wink

Here is some Bombyliidae I found near Chalon/Saone (Burgundy, France), on 5th June 2004. Length was 5 mm av. and wingspan 10 mm.

I've been told maybe it could be Bombylius ater (Thanks to Paul Beuk !)
Can anyone confirm this ID or submit another one ?

Thanks !
