Location: Midwest Sweden (Dalsland) Date: 2007-JUL-15 Habitat: Resting on Syringa vulgaris I'm waiting for our swedish book about Syrphidae so I have no literature on this family yet. fore tarsae = orange so it should be Eristalis pertinax |

Why not buy the new Finnish book It has illustrated keys in english (and finnish) for all Swedish species - and more!

Any idea if that is any better than Danmarks Svirrefluer? I guess there might have been some new information since 1994. In danish it is possible to understand some words, but finnish is totally unintelligible (for me). |
