Can any one help to ID this insect please the photo was taken in my garden (Yorkshire GB) 0n 22 Aug.
I originally had it down as a Hover Fly but now think it is tiny bee or a wasp.

I think it's a Crossocerus, but I'm no expert on these wasps, and will leave it to someone else to suggest a species!
