A very difficult Machimus female......it seems to belong a group of medium to very large black-legged Machimus species. The consists of M. setibarbus, M. caliginosus, M. cyanopus, M. intermedius (faulty synonym of S. setibarbis) maybe even more species should be included. A thorough revision is needed...until then this will remain Machimus sp.

Thanks Reinoud. In fact, the size was between 2 and 3 cm. I think. |
