hi flyforum,

Yesterday I found this ~5mm specie on my balcony.
I have seen such a fly last year but I can not remember what kind of fly is was..
So, I ask you for some help..
Do you have any idea about this family?
And it would be great if you can tell what specie this is Grin

greeting, Robert

Hi Robert,

Sorry for the confusion, J?rgen and Paul are right, it is a member of the family Ceratopogonidae.
