Found in coastal vegetation close to dunes in Asturias, N Spain, 24.I.2016. It reminds me a lot of Elachiptera. Can it be Elachiptera megaspis?? Any other suggestion??

Sorry for the quality Sad Only allowed me this shot and flew off. Found it again and got a dorsal view but I cannot be 100% certain it is the same specimen. Unless you ask for it, I prefer to post only this shot.

Thanks a lot for any help and effort! Wink Smile

Chloropidae, Oscinellinae: Elachiptera megaspis (Loew, 1858). I agree with Sara. Compare post https://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=45366
