I would bet on family Tachinidae, subfamily Phasiinae. It is not, but it reminds me a lot of our Trichopoda pennipes. I wouldn't be surprised if this one is a relative... |

It's in the same tribe, Trichopodini. In North America it would be a Trichopoda. In South America there are more genera, or will be when the tribe is revised. |
