I think this is Callliphora vicina, but I don't know whether there are other similar species in North Africa

Thanks Tony. I have C. vicina which has blue abdomen but this specimen is all black. Do you recommend any article can help in identification? Thanks again for help Salah |

The colour of the abdomen in C. vicina can sometimes appear black, particularly if it is wet or greasy. Start by comparing this specimen to a specimen with a blue abdomen and see if there are any other differences.
