For online identification keys of Culicidae

The CD rom of "Les moustiques d'Europe, Première version (2001) : F. Schaffner, G. Angel, B. Geoffroy, J.-P. Hervy, A. Rhaiem, J. Brunhes" is out of print but the logiciel/program can be used online:

http://www.mivegec.ird.fr/fr/identiciels

(You can also install the xper program to work offline but then I don't know how it works)

You should tell ("configure"Wink Java the security exceptions below:

http://bioinfo-web.mpl.ird.fr/identiciels/culeurope/java/culeurope.html
http://bioinfo-web.mpl.ird.fr/identiciels/culeuropegenre/java/culeuropegenre.html

http://lis-upmc.snv.jussieu.fr/lis/ressources/xper2/online/xercesImpl.jar
http://www.mivegec.ird.fr/fr/identiciels

And also close and run again the browser again (I used Mozilla Firefox and it worked well)

Then you click another security acceptation

Maybe you have to wait a few seconds

Then the key is on

Best wishes,

Rafael

Hello again

With the more recent Java and Mozilla updates it seems impossible to use the program online....

My informatics knowledge is quite limited, so any success will that matter will be wellcommed

Another possibility is the authors to edit the CD again,....

Best wishes,

Rafael

identification key for mosquitoes of Euro-Mediterranean. Version
1.1. in English available at www.medilabsecure.com/moskeytool.
