Hi, I also got a brown fly on 18. of march this year. also taking a sunbath on a light wall. South-West Germany, Baden-Württemberg, Region Heilbronn, about 240m above NN, Is it possible to identify? Think its a female? Pollenia female. The genus can usually be identified by yellow fur. They are common on white walls in the sun this time of year. |
