Tiny flies on wrapped up honeybee, in scrubby grass in Chongwe Distr., Lusaka, Zambia.

For flies elsewhere, the Black 'M' on the head is mentioned as indicative of Desmometopa, which seems to have a few Afrotropical species, but I'm not sure if the same characters hold for the continent.

That's oaky for Desmometopa but it will not yield a species ID. Smile

Genus is more than I originally hoped for with these grainy photos. Thanks for the confirmation.
