Hello,

I found this larvae (# 10 mm) under mixed Lamium, Campanula and Ericaceae, in my garden in the suburbs of Paris, on February 20th.

I assume that this is a larvae of a Diptera Syrphidae.

I read in the Rotheray that only Syrphinae larvae at their first or second stage have their two posterior breathing tubes not fused... So it could be Syrphus or Episyrphus larvae...

What do you think?

Thank you
