Can anyone help to id this species please - seen on 29th June in woodland near Leicester.
Features:
Bronze thorax
No visible orange/markings on abdomen
Strange silvery frons

Hello Dave, nice picture!
This is the male of Riponnensia splendens, easily recognisable by the two grey stripes on the front of the thoracic dorsum.
You can see those stripes just behind the ocellair triangle on the head!
