I photographed this fly while it was feeding on an oxeye daisy in the garden (Crete, Greece). I guess it's size was about 5-10mm, it had an abdomen shaped like a triangle and long legs.

(Changed the title from "Tachinidae?" to "Tachinidae: Fischeria bicolor" now that Theo identified it)

Theo,

Well, congratulations.
It seems you never forget, isn't it?

Many thanks, Theo!

I had long forgotten about this post and I thought you guys had forgotten about it too.
Only now did I come back to this and I'm really glad you proved me wrong :-)

Do you think I should submit these to the gallery, as there are no other photos of this species, or they won't do because I didn't manage to capture the whole fly?

Thanks again!

Definitely - it is something that is so unusual that it should be in the gallery, in my opinion. Smile
