Hi * locality - Dunas de S?o Jacinto - PORTUGAL (http://tinyurl.co...) * date - 2007.06.08 * size - 7 mm (medium fly) * habitat - sand dunes * substrate - above sand I think this is Bombylella sp. It has very typical flora: Ammophila arenaria; Sedum sediforme; Acacia longifolia; Briza maxima (many!); Artemisia campestris; Corema album; Otanthus maritimus; etc to see the next photo much bigger go here: http://www.flickr...amp;size=l The fly is above Othantus maritimus (plant that can survive in very harsh environment - very salty, windy, and sunny places) jorgemotalmeida attached the following image: ![]() [193.33Kb] Edited by jorgemotalmeida on 27-03-2010 13:28 |
