Denmark, South-Denmark, Sydals, near Sønderborg, coastal area, beech highwood with bushes, Outsidefotos: kuv, 20th of June 2014. Comparing pics in the Diptera Gallery I think it could be Thelaira solivaga; but with a yellow scutellum? Please help.

No, you are way off.
It looks like the male of Nemoraea pellucida.
Would be a great find!
Is the locality on Jutland or one the islands ?

A few days before I found another specimen (picture) near the same place. The island Als is right next to South-East Jütland (Jylland) close to the German-Danish-border.

It is very rare in the west, extinct in NL more than a century ago.
So this is relatively nearby !
