Hi,
I found this larva in a small stream in West Finland.
I took the photo on 17 December 2014 Kokkola, Finland.
Size 20mm.

Thanks.

Regards Pentti.

Thanks Tony!

Could it be a Limnephilus or Anabolia?

Pentti.

I think I see only 1 gill instead of a bundle of gills, so perhaps it is closer to Chaetopteryx.

Thank you!

Yes, it seems to be 1 gill instead of a bundle of gills.
Only two species of Chaetopteryx -family are found in Finland.
Chaetopteryx sahlbergi, and Chaetopteryx villosa
