Hello,

I need help to ID this Tachinid, it seems to be a Spallanzania genus:

08.08.2014 - North Italy - Peglio (Como) - 650m

I think you are right, on account of the whitish basicosta.

The ocellars are proclinate, so it can't be Spallanzania.

I am thinking some kind of Chaetogena, though not sure !!
