is my determination correct?

Location: Germany, Rhineland-Palatinum, 53572 Unkel, river Rhine valley, Stux hill, dry and warm habitat (grapeyards),16. 08. 2014.

Hello Michael,

Syrphus sp.. Males cannot be IDed with such a photo, although ribesii seems likely.
