Hiya All,

Please for give me if I've made any Gaffs in posting as this is my first posting here.

Does anybody know what this is please ?
My first thoughts are a Mosquito.
Appologies for the IQ but Unfortunately this was the only shot I could get as it flew off

My first thoughts are that it is a mycetophilid - a fungus gnat Smile

I should add that I am basing that on the fact that: it doesn't seem to have a long forward-pointing proboscis; is has orange body colouration; it has long, unfeathered antennae.
