This small hymenopterid had been taken as prey by a specimen of Dioctria atricapilla which I caught recently in Gloucestershire, England. Is it possible to identify it to at least family level?

I meant to say that this insect is about 6mm long.

The small number of flagellomeres and lack of obvious constriction of the abdomen suggest Tenthredinidae.
