Hello,

I found a few of this Asilids, they was all togheter and mating too, but I need your help. Here is the male and the female.

Ciao Marcello. Maschio e femmina del complesso Machimus (il complesso Dysmachus ha chetotassi difforme da questi esemplari).


They're both (male and female) from Machimus complex (chaetotaxy doesn't fit with Dysmachus complex)

Machimus rusticus makes a very good chance. Machimus species with entirely black femora and tibiae with a red base are limited.
