I really have no idea about this one, not even about the family. It was appr. 6-8 mm long. I found it yesterday at Leerdam, Netherlands. Does anyone know this cute fly?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks, Kahis!
I never thought of Scatophagidae, while it seems quite obvious now. Sad
It looks a lot like C. pubera in the gallery, could it be that species or does it have lookalikes?

Naturally Smile But I think it is quite safe it is C. pubera since the sibling species (C. aemula) is, as far as I knopw, very rare everywhere.
