Hello!

These Nephrotomas are numerous here (Ostwestfalen/Germany) on meadows at the moment. Can the species be identified? Thanks in advance!

Hi Juergen!

I also found them by the dozen around my home. I am afraid of that you must be satisfied only the genus level. One of my book descripts one species called Nephrotoma crocata as very widespread in Europe but I do not know how many similar species are there.

Thanks! I think N. crocata is somewhat bigger and darker than mine. I speculated about appendiculata.
Best regards,
Jürgen
