Hello!

This photo shows a fly, of what I guess, it is a species of family Muscidae. It was about 5 mm long and shot near Hanover, Germany.

Is it possible, to identify this fly?

Thank you and greetings, Freddy

Freddy,

As you can see, the picture did not attach. Make sure it is within the size limits given in the FAQ and make sure the file name does not contain spaces and other irregular characters.

So I tried a preview now, and the picture does not upload. But it is within the max. filesize and a jpg. I tried the upload as gif, too but without success. So I'll try a link now:

Freddy

I think it's Musca autumnalis.
