I've never seen little heads emerge from the rest of the body like this, so I am assuming it is a hoverfly since the rest of the appearance coincides. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Head emerged fairly often from the rest of the body but the legs weren't used for locomotion but probably for grasping prey. Found in the cool, tropical rainforests of Madagascar during the rainy season in January of last year.
