Ceratopogonidae sp. Full ID please

Found on tree trunks, and flying around my compost bin. Lincoln GBR.
Date: 29th October 2011
Size: ≈3mm

PS Ceratopogonidae has been suggested...now confirmed...is a full ID possible, hope so..? Smile

One of the Forcipomyia bipunctata lookalikes. I don't know how many species are in that category.

Larvae of some Forcipomyia live under bark.
